Robert S. Jeter II, CFP®

Founder/Financial Planner

My journey as a Financial Advisor began in 2012, and ever since I’ve been driven by one purpose: to serve families with honest, thoughtful, and fiduciary financial advice. I founded Back Bay Financial Planning & Investments in 2025 with that mission. After working with firms that placed products and sales over quality financial advice, I understand what a genuine fiduciary relationship should-and shouldn’t-look like. These lessons have shaped the foundation of my firm.

Originally from Annapolis, MD, my wife Kelly and I moved to Maryland’s Eastern Shore in 2016. For me it was a return to my Alma Mater, Salisbury University where I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science. We’ve since fallen in love with the Eastern Shore, and currently live in West Ocean City, MD raising our two boys Campe and Wyndham-alongside our spirited yellow lab Luna, who proudly claims the role of third child.

In my time raising a family here, it’s become obvious the treasure we have here on the coast of Maryland and Delaware. My professional pursuit is to help others make the most of this special lifestyle through thoughtful planning that reflects your goals, values, and the life you want to live.

I’m passionate about financial education and you can find me speaking to the public, non-profit, and student groups on a range of complex financial topics. My goal is always the same: to help people become more comfortable and confident when making complex financial decisions.
